- Because Siobhan does not understand that there are different meanings for facial expressions in different cultures, he finds other people confusing.

- Christopher’s mom is in the hospital and he can’t visit her
- He loves finding new things to do so he wanted to find out who killed the dog. He wants to make it a project.
- Christopher is told that his mother has passed away due to a heart attack. since he has autism and finds things very literal, he kept asking what type of heart attack killed her.
- He goes to Mrs. Shear's house to find out who killed the dog and she tells him to leave or she’ll call the cops.
Pages 42-44
- Christopher reads a letter from his mom talking about how she was a bad mom.
- We then find out that his mother did not want to put up with the fact that he had autism. She wasn't very patient to him because of his condition.

- Christopher's mother tells him that he is going to another school.
- Christopher doe not want to leave, so he throws a tantrum.
- Ed tries to help the situation, however, you could definitely tell who the dominant parent was. He isn't as talkative as the mother.
- From my perspective, this could have been a factor to the different types of relationships that Christopher had with his mom and dad.
